Gratitude

For Christmas I gave my mom the power of having an awesome daughter. Okay that sounds like a bit much, but parenting is stressful (so I’ve heard). You are constantly in wonder if you children are happy, healthy, and living life “right” what ever that means.

So I gave her a few postcards to send to me with some attempts at making the world and myself better.

The first postcard I had was for a gratitude wall. Which you see above.

It was pretty cool. I managed to stay ahead of it or on time until the last few days of the month. It was nice to catch up with one positive thing.

Here’s some close ups of what I was grateful for. Yoga has been saving my butt lately and I’ve really enjoyed getting into it. I’m hoping to explore more of it this year. Right now I’m actually using a website to do my yoga classes because the current ones in town aren’t working with my schedule. (yogaglo.com)

The cool part was having it up in the house when people came. At first I was a little embarrassed because there were some silly things on the board. Then something really awesome happened.

Our guests started writing on the board! (see the pink).

So what are you grateful for?
