London – Museums

When I went to London I did the London Transportation Museum and the Imperial War Museum.

Both were suggested to me by my best friend who spent an entire summer in London.

I figured her word should count for something so off I went!

The London Transportation Museum was really cool because it starts with an elevator and you go back in time:

Clever elevator.

There was a lot of trains and different types of buses and things. It was really interesting to get inside, or at least look inside them.

This inside cracked me up the most.

I learned a lot about the underground transportation in London. It always amazes me how those things are created so this was a really good stop for me.

Next to the Imperial War Museum.

My favorite part about this museum?

The propaganda.

I’ve always had a thing for propaganda.

Really though the museum itself was too much for me.

There’s just a lot of really powerful, both literally and figuratively, things here.

There was potential for destruction everywhere you went.

Then they had a display about the Trench that was a lot.

There was voices and sounds of bombing and smells. It was, a lot.

Overall I saw a lot in London. I spent as much time as a could just sitting and taking it all in.
