Go Ape

Handsome recently came to visit me here in the UK.

It was a great adventure with the man I love.

Here’s just what we did one day.

We went to the Go Ape the Buxton site. However I’ve linked to the US sights because more of you might find yourself closer to one of those.

It was a little wet and cold when we first arrived so we bought some Go Ape gear (notice the hats?) and set off for the trail.

Go ape is different than our other zip lining experience because instead of having an instructor clip you in at each site, it’s up to you to remember which clip goes with what.

Also.

Don’t die.

No big deal.

Except it was AWESOME.

You see zip lining I’ve done before. Quickly get from one place to the next sliding on a line.

This was different though.

It was an adult size outdoor. Play park.

It was

AWESOME.

This was a tightwalk rope that you had to hold onto the swinging ropes for balance.

This was the tarzan swing where you had to LEAP from the tree and free fall for a while until you swung STRAIGHT into the cargo net.

Awesome points: high
Scary points: incredibly high

Each zone had more interesting scary fun.

I always kept asking handsome to check my clip ins because I was so afraid of falling.

No worries none of us fell that the clip-ins didn’t catch us.

Here’s some more of the obstacles:
